An active contributor to the addiction treatment profession, Stephen is a committee member of CLEAR Coalition, where he advocates for a fair, well-funded Pennsylvania state budget for vital services and programs, including health care and addiction recovery services. Stephen has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, and is certified as CCDP, CCS, and CAADC. In addition to his extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Stephen also has 14 years of experience working in the field of corrections helping incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals overcome their addictions and transition into independent living. Having spent his entire career in the addiction treatment space, Stephen brought with him more than 35 years of experience when he joined the Clear Day team in 2018.
